What is The Muse Network?
The Muse Network is a website designed to be an online global network of Muse related events, resources, and community to connect Musers worldwide with others interested and passionate about building community thru the creative expressive arts.
The Muse Arts are all of the creative expressive arts: song, dance, drumming, music, poetry, spoken word, and even the visual arts can be considered Muse Arts. A Muser is one who is inspired to create, play, dance and enjoy these art forms whether by active involvement, observation or support!
The intention is to create a central online hub where you can find whatever you are looking for in the Muse arts, whether you want to study Bomba in Puerto Rico or Indian Vox in Chicago. The inspiration came from Cheri's hours of trying to find details on events, and finding so many dead links, and bunk contacts, etc in the pages and pages of websites, and having to go to so many different places to find info. Imagine one place with all of the listings, organized by city, state and country, complete with social networking so you can connect, find what you're loooking for, and talk to other people who are involved!
